Every morning she wakes up around 7:00, whether she has to work or not. She goes to the bathroom to take a quick shower and get changed. Then she wakes up her 3 daughters: Astrid, Silje and Nathalie to help her make breakfast for the whole family. When her husband, Nathan, and her son Aron wake up, breakfast starts.

 

While the family is eating, she goes upstairs to make the beds and clean up. After having done the dishes, she goes to work by bus because Nathan doesn’t trust her with the car.

 

Work starts at 8:30. The first thing she does is check all the patients and make sure they have everything they need. Then she receives a list with the tasks of the day and sees to it that everyone is assigned one.

 

At 10:30 there is a coffee break. Men and women can’t sit together during the break, but are assigned two different rooms. After half an hour, everyone continues to work till noon. She eats a healthy salad and talks with her female colleagues. The rest of the day she spends in her office doing paperwork.

 

After work, at 5:00, she takes the bus to the day care to pick up her children. They go home together by bus. At home she takes her bike and goes grocery shopping. When she’s back, she starts making dinner. She has to make sure dinner is ready when Nathan gets home, because he doesn’t like to wait.

 

At the end of the day, after having done all the chores, she clears her head by walking. She goes to bed at 9:00.
